What the mean of Patient Monitor parameters?

General Patient monitor is bedside patient monitor, the monitor with 6 parameters(RESP, ECG, SPO2, NIBP,TEMP) is suitble for ICU, CCU etc.

How to know the mean of 5parameters ? Look at this photo of Yonker Patient Monitor YK-8000C:

1.ECG

The main display parameter is heart rate, which refers to the number of times the heart beats per minute.  The heart rate of normal adults has significant individual variation, averaging around 75 beats/min (between 60 and 100 beats/min).

2.NIBP  (non-invasive blood pressure)

The normal range for  systolic blood pressure should be between 90 and diastolic 140mmHgand 60 to 90 MMHG

3.SPO2

Blood oxygen saturation (normal 90 - 100, 99-100 for most people, the lower the result, the lower the oxygen)

4.RESP

Respiration is the patient’s breathing rate, or respiration rate.  Respiration rate is the times of breaths a patient takes per unit of time.  Calm breathing , newborn 60~70 times/min, adults 12~18 times/min.  Under quiet state, 16-20 times/min, breathing movement is uniform, and the ratio to pulse rate is 1:4.  Men and children mainly breathe through the abdomen, and women mainly breathe through the chest.

5.Temperature

The normal value is less than 37.3℃, more than 37.3℃ indicates a fever, some monitors do not have this .
